Welcome to Blue Lake Forest Education Society!

Jody McInnes, General Manager Blue Lake Forest Education SocietyFor many years Blue Lake has been well known for the high quality experiential education that it provides for students, summer campers, and special groups.  Over the past couple of years Blue Lake has been in a state of transition.  During this time the Society was able to take a close look at the types of programs and services that Blue Lake offered and then strategically evaluate where improvements could be made to make Blue Lake even better than before.  After making some exciting new changes we have evolved into a sound organization that is striving to become one of the leading Experiential Education Centers in Western Canada.

So come on out to Blue Lake Camp and experience the difference, I know you’ll be impressed with the changes that we’ve made.

See you soon!

Blue Lake Forest Education Society

Blue Lake Forest Education Society is a registered non-profit organization which encourages responsible stewardship of our surrounding forest lands by informed and concerned citizens. The Society’s primary focus is to deliver a variety of educational programs and experiences to the young people of the Columbia/Kootenay region based on the principles of experiential learning. These programs promote integrated forest resource management and social responsibility to one another and the environment we live in.
