There is no better place to learn about the forest and environment than at Blue Lake.  Focusing on hands-on learning, your students get to experience the outdoors up close and in a way that’s personal to them.

Why not take learning outside of the classroom with a field trip to Blue Lake; it is not only educational and economical, but also lots of fun!  Our programs are all taught by knowledgeable staff who can tailor the program to meet your curriculum needs.

Whatever it is you’re looking for, you can find it here at Blue Lake.

Remember, we have programs running all year round; WINTER, SPRING, SUMMER, and FALL.

Our most popular programs include the Interpretive Trail (covering topics such as fire ecology, tree identification, pine beetle, silivculture, ecosystem management, grizzly bear habitat, biodiversity, and more), Water Eco-fun, Soil Studies, Predator Prey and Population Dynamics, Survival Skills, Orienteering, Canoeing, and Group Games. For a list of all programs available with descriptions, check out Blue Lake Programs.

Blue Lake also runs leadership programs focusing on team building, effective communication, goal setting, trust, self esteem, problem solving, and conflict resolution. Check out Camp Programs for more information.

* Spring 2012 is booking up fast with only a few dates remaining in May and June. If you are interested in bringing a group to Blue Lake for Spring programs, contact the Blue Lake Office soon to make a reservation.
